Day 1: Delhi – Mussoorie (250 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)
Have early morning breakfast and then leave for Queen of Hills, the Mussoorie. Located at an altitude of 2,005 meters in the Garhwal hills, is the most frequently visited hill station of India. One can see waterfalls, forest trails, hiking opportunities and eco parks. Other attractions are Gun Hill, Cloud End, Lake View, Kempty Falls, etc.
Day 2: Mussoorie – Yamunotri (140 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs)
Get ready for early morning drive to Yamunotri, known to be the origin of the holy river Yamuna. The major attractions are the hot springs located at Yamunotri which are highly famed all across India and abroad. The hot water of the springs is used by devotees all across the country to prepare Prasad offered at the holy shrine at Yamunotri.
Day 3: Yamunotri – Uttarkashi (120 Kms/ 6 Hrs)
After offering prayer at the Yamunotri, drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive and take rest; later get ready to offer prayer at Kashi Vishwanath at Uttarkashi. The temple is located at the bank of river Ganga also knows as Bhagirathi. One can visit various temples and naturally beautiful places & wildlife sanctuary during a tour to the place.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – (200 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs)
Now leave Uttarkashi and leave for Gangotri visiting Lanka or Bhairon Ghati on the way. Gangotri is the place of origin of River Ganges which is the most sacred river of India. The holy river is also known as the River Bhagirathi at its point of origin. Arrive late in the evening and check into the hotel. Take rest and later you can visit the temple.
Day 5: Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs)
Today you can enjoy the sightseeing tour of Gangotri and nearby places. Your tour will start from Gangotri Temple built in 18th century. Then you can visit Cheedvasa and Bhojvasa, Gomukh Glaciers, Nandanvan which is a trekking path along the glacier. These places are sacred as well as offer wonderful adventure opportunities.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (223 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs)
Have early morning breakfast and then leave for Guptkashi crossing the Tehri Dam. Guptkashi is famous sacred place pretty like of Kashi and tourists can visit the ancient Vishwanath & Ardhanarishwar Temple and Manikarnik Kund during the tour. Enjoy your day visiting the sacred places of ancient India and then return back to hotel.
Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi (202 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs)
Today you will leave for Phata from where you can take a Helicopter for Kedarnath, shrine famous for one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is situated opposite to Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva and Kedarnath is the place where Pandavas sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath (190 Kms/ 9 Hrs)
After early morning breakfast, drive to Badrinath crossing Chopta. On arrival you can enjoy interesting sightseeing tour of Mana Village which is just before the Tibetan border. Later visit the Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Vyas Gufa and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River and after the wonderful day, and then check into the hotel.
Day 9: Badrinath – Joshimath (44 Kms/ 2 Hrs)
After having breakfast leave for Joshimath whose name is derived from Sanskrit word ‘Jyotirmath’. The tourists come here to offer prayer at the sacred Jyotirlinga of Shiva. According to legends, the lord Vishnu resides here in winter. People in huge numbers come here to seek the blessing of their deities for wellbeing of loved ones.
Day 10: Joshimath – Rishikesh (254 Kms/ 8 Hrs)
Have breakfast, and get ready for the full day excursion of Rishikesh where you can visit the Laxman and Ram Jhula, Bharat Mandir, Geeta Bhawan, Raghunath Temple, Triveni Ghat etc. After visiting the wonderful places, return back to hotel for lunch and rest. After that, drive to Rishikesh, another sacred place for the Hindus.
Day 11: Rishikesh – Haridwar (25 Kms/ 1 Hrs)
Have breakfast early in the morning and leave for Haridwar. The word Haridwar means path to God and tourists from all across the world come here to offer prayer and seek the blessing of deity. In the city one can see various temples and religious places besides, one can also enjoy shopping and visiting wildlife sanctuaries.
Day 12: Haridwar – Delhi (230 Kms/ 6 Hrs)
Get up early in the morning and enjoy Maha Aarti at the Haridwar temple. You can also take a holy dip at the famous Har Ki Paudi. Then return back to hotel, have breakfast can check your luggage. Pack your bags and leave for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you can board the flight or train for your journey towards home.
